"Guiding Light" is a specialized yoga nidra and midnfulness program tailored to provide solace, support, and a mindful space for teenagers facing this significant life change. Our program recognises the unique emotional landscape teens may encounter during such transitions and offers a gentle, compassionate approach to self-discovery and resilience.

Through carefully curated meditation sessions, participants will explore tools to manage stress, foster emotional well-being, and build inner strength. Each session is thoughtfully crafted to empower teens to find their guiding light within, turning challenges into opportunities for personal growth.

The course contents:

Session 1: Finding Your Ground

This session focuses on grounding techniques to help your teenager feel more centred and stable amidst the changes happening around you. They will learn how to connect with their breath, anchor themselves in the present moment, and cultivate a sense of inner strength and stability.

Session 2: Navigating Emotions

Emotions are a natural and essential part of the human experience. However, navigating our emotions, especially during times of change or upheaval, can be challenging. This session explores how to recognise, accept, and respond to our emotions in a healthy and constructive way. By learning to navigate our emotions with mindfulness and self-compassion, your teenager can cultivate resilience and emotional well-being.

Session 3: Cultivating Compassion

During times of upheaval, it's important to extend compassion to yourself and others. This session explores practices to cultivate self-compassion and empathy, allowing your teenager to navigate the challenges of parental separation with kindness and understanding.

Session 4: Embracing Change

Change is a natural part of life, but it can also be unsettling. This session explores mindfulness techniques to help your teenager embrace change with openness and resilience. They will learn how to adapt to new circumstances, let go of resistance, and find beauty in the process of transformation.

Session 5: Building Resilience

Resilience is the ability to bounce back from adversity stronger than before. This session focuses on cultivating resilience through meditation and self-reflection. Your teenager will explore the power of resilience-building practices to help them navigate challenges with courage and resilience.

Session 6: Finding Your Guiding Light

The final session will bring everything together as your teenager will discover their inner guiding light. They will learn how to tap into their inner wisdom, intuition, and strength to navigate life's challenges with confidence and grace. By connecting with their inner guidance, they will find the resilience to navigate the complexities of parental separation with courage and resilience.

There are six Yoga Nidra meditations specific for each session, curated to empower your teenager through this difficult transition. There is also a workbook intended to complement the Yoga Nidra practice, providing additional reflection prompts and exercises to deepen the experience and foster emotional healing and resilience.
